From tiny babies to teenagers, we have something for you and your family and it’s not just on Sundays!
Your children and young people are important at JD Church; our kids and youth work are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to partner with families and enable young people to build a relationship and experience Christ for themselves. We’re passionate about seeing the next generation be everything that God created them to be.
Mini Treasures
Aged 3 years to Reception
We meet on Sundays and you can check-in between 10:20 and 10:45 am. Your child will learn about their relationship with God through the Bible, in ways that are simple, creative and fun. Our age-specific lessons will capture your child’s imagination with fun activities that aid Scripture memorisation. You can also share in what your child is learning with the Bible App for Kids. It features the same stories they enjoy in church!
Mini Disciples
School years 1-5
Mini Disciples are part of our JD Kids ministry. We meet on Sundays and you can check-in between 10:20 and 10:45 am. Your child will experience a teaching that focuses on who God is, who they are in Him and what they can do because of Jesus. They discuss in small groups what they have learnt and how they can apply it to their lives. They will have fun, find a place of belonging, and learn through relevant videos, upbeat music and passionate volunteers.
Emerge Youth
Ages 11-18
Emerge is a family where your young people can feel loved, and accepted and become who they were made to be. Emerge meets on Friday evenings (term-time) from 7-9 pm. You’ll experience fun games, talks worship and much more! Every Sunday, Emerge meet in the main service for worship then head up to the Youth space for a session aimed specifically at young people. You’re welcome to join us every week from 10:15 am!
Tiny Treasures
Children under 5 and their caregivers
Tiny Treasures is for children under 5 and their caregivers. You’re welcome to join us during term time on Friday mornings from 9:45-11 am at JD Church. Your child will have time to play as they explore new toys and learn about God through songs, stories and crafts. It is so important for parents to meet other parents, and our group is a place where support, love and encouragement can be found.
